FORUM/GAME RULES

1) Read up before asking!
2) Use the search function, before posting a new question, please do read the forums relevant
to your question to make sure it hasn't already been thoroughly covered.
Please pay particular attention to any Pinned threads (threads at the top of a category).
3) Respect the netiquette: Lurk and get to know the forum before you post.
4) Keep the focus: Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will
either be moved, locked or simply be deleted.
5) Be nice to each other and respect the moderator. Profanity and insults
will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member turn
to the respective moderator and if the moderator can't
help you send a private message to Angel.
6) Don't Spam - Do not use the forums in any way to promote third
party services, products, websites, or organizations. Make sure that
you are posting for the good of the community, not just for the
sake of self-promotion. This also includes our PM/Email system.
We take PM/Email/Post abuse very seriously, and it will result in
the immediate removal of your membership and ban of your IP address,
without warning.
7) Be Considerate - Everyone wants to have a good time on the Forums.
Do not post harassing, threatening, abusive, lewd, or inflammatory comments.
Flaming people, products, or organizations is never acceptable.
Neither is trolling. Instead, be friendly, helpful, and supportive and
the forum will be much more enjoyable for everyone. That isn't to say you
can't talk smack or that this place is supposed to be like Sunday school.
That said you are expected good judgment and don't get carried away.
8 ) No warez, cracks, serials or illegally obtained copyrighted content!
Links to content of a questionable nature (e.g. anything you don't
own and/or have downloaded), asking for, offering, or asking for
help/helping to process such content in any way or form is not tolerated.
9) Keep the size of personal images down.
10) No cross posting. Post your message once, to the appropriate
forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.
11) Use a title that describes the content of your post.
Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention.
12) Do not send questions pertaining to topics of discussion on
this board via personal messages or email to Moderators or Admins,
they will be ignored.
13) Don't post just to increase your number of posts.
If you have nothing to say on a certain matter then don't post.
The number of posts on this board has no direct relation to the experience of a member.
14) How NOT to post on this forum:
5 minutes after your initial post you reply to your own post
writing something like "Why is nobody helping me?
I'm sure you know the answer". Once somebody replies to your
thread but doesn't give you exactly the answer you've been expecting you insult them.
Do not ask "what's best" because this question cannot be answered objectively.
Each and everyone has their own view about what's best in a certain area.
The best is what works best for you!
15) The official language is English. Outside using
translator in the forum. English is the only allowed language.
16) Multiple registrations are prohibited and are grounds for immediate account deletion.
17) Political discussion not directly related to DVD backup issues are
prohibited, as is any discussion on religion and religious matters.
18) Instructions by the moderator team are to be followed.
19) No discussion about the rules or their interpretation.

Harassing Other Player or FFL Staff Member:
Disrespecting FFL Staff Member:
~Insulting or disrespecting our FFL staff member will not be tolerated. When you get frustrated kindly do not insult staff members. Doing so can lead to a mute and even a ban depending on the severity of the case.
~Unwanted attacks upon another player/staff is not allowed. Harassment through PM/Shout/GeneralChat/Whisper/Guild and in VendShout with intentions of swearing/cursing or making fun which is offensive is punishable.
~ screenshot all conversation with them and report it via the staff support with the screenshots
• (Press the "0(zero)" button on your keyboard; Then open up your FFL Flyff folder, Open "Capture" folder and the screenshot should be inside that folder.)
Note: In case of mute~You need to stay ingame w/ the amount of time muted for the mute to lifted!
•First Offense: 1~day mute
•Second Offense: 3~day mute
•Third Offense: 5~day mute
•Fourth Offense: 7~day mute
•Fifth Offense: Permanent mute
Hacking/Duping/Exploits are Highly Not Allowed:
Hacking~ Attempting to hack or crash the server, hack an account/user, item/penya hack, teleport hack, stat hack, hack to obtain other user's passwords or using a 3rd party program to obtain any advantages in the game.
Duping~ using an exploit to duplicate (make a copy of) items is subject to permanent ban.
Being in possession of a duped/hacked item will result in consequences; but this will be dealt with on a case to case basis.
Exploits~Exploiting any flaw in the system to gain advantages for yourself or others will result in anything from a temporary ban to a permanent ban, depending on the severity of the incident. Ex:Ranged Asal/HoP-ing/blinkpooling to areas that is inaccessible.
Note: Above offenses will be dealt w/ on a case to case basis.
•First Offense: Permanent ban
No Shops/Duel/GuildWar in Flaris :
~ All shops are to be placed in Saint Morning only.
~ All upgrading in Flaris/Arena only.
~ No dueling in flaris. Use Arena in dueling.
~ No Guildwar in Flaris. Only in Saint Morning/Darkon only.
•First Offense: Warning issued by a GM or force disconnection
•Second Offense: Freeze
•Third Offense: 3~day ban
•Fourth Offense: 5~day ban
•Fifth Offense: Permanent ban
Begging for Items/Penya from Player/Staff is Not Allowed:
~GMs are not allowed to give out items or penya and they cannot trade anyways. Only if they held an event/s and you won that they are allowed to trade with a player.
Note: In case of mute~You need to stay ingame w/ the amount of time muted for the mute to lifted!
•First Offense: Warning issued by a GM
•Second Offense: 1~hour mute
•Third Offense: 1~day mute
•Fourth Offense: 3~day mute
•Fifth Offense: Permanent mute
GM Impersonation and Tooling Not Allowed:
GM Impersonation~ Impersonating & pretending to be a GM or any of the Staffs of FFA will suffer the consequenes.
GM Tooling~ Claiming to know a GM or any FFA staff and using them as a leverage against dispute with other player/s will also suffer the consequences.
•First Offense: 3~day ban
•Second Offense: 7~day ban
•Third Offense: Permanent ban
Text/Trade/Party/Guild Invite Spamming Not Allowed:
~Repeated or similar lines of text 5 or more times within 1 minute in all form of chat are covered(shout,general,whisper,guild, and party).
~Spamming another player/staff member with party/trade/guild invite requests are not allowed. If they decline twice to your invite, accept it as a no.
Note: In case of mute~You need to stay ingame w/ the amount of time muted for the mute to lifted!
•First Offense: Warning issued by a GM
•Second Offense: 1~day mute
•Third Offense: 3~day mute
•Fourth Offense: 5~day mute
•Fifth Offense: Permanent mute
Kill Steal and Looting Not Allowed:
Kill Steal~ Killing player for the purpose of stealing mobs/giants/dops is not allowed.
Looting~ Picking up drops of other player's mobs w/o consent is not allowed.

•Second Offense: 3~day ban
•Third Offense: Permanent ban
